Jackson was a 19 year old sophomore in college when he started noticing lower back pain.  He went home for a visit and ended up in the ER with a lymphoma diagnosis.  Further testing revealed he had Anaplastic Large Cell NHL.  He did 6 rounds of chemotheraphy, but unfortunately he quickly relapsed.  So next Jackson did an auto stem cell transplant at MD Anderson, but unfortunately he relapsed again.  In March of 2023, Jackson received a haplo stem cell transplant from his younger brother and has stayed in remission since.  His interests include learning Chinese and doing math.  He is feeling good and back at college studying Finance and Accounting.
