VISIONARIES OF THE YEAR

Visionaries of the Year is a 10-week philanthropic competition to support the LLS mission among a group of motivated and dedicated individuals in communities across the United States. Candidates form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of two local cancer survivors. The team who raises the most funds during the 10-week campaign is awarded the prestigious title “Visionary of the Year” in their local community. The Visionary who raises the most across the entire country is recognized as the National Visionary of the Year. As part of their journey, candidates and their teams will also choose a pillar of LLS’s mission – Research, Patient Education & Support, or Advocacy - to champion on as they raise money.

The amounts raised are TOP SECRET and are not disclosed until the local Visionary of the Year is announced at the Grand Finale Celebration. The competition is 10 weeks long, beginning at the kickoff on Thursday, March 21st, 2023, and ending at the Grand Finale Celebration on Friday, May 31st, 2023, at River Oaks Country Club.

Congratulations to this year’s candidate class. We are currently accepting nominations for next year. For additional information please contact your local LLS Staff Partner.

Congratulations to our Visionary of the Year Winners
