Visionaries look to the future—and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo—and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world – and lead the charge to create it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.
Through Visionaries of the Year campaign, we are excited to recognize community leaders for being what we need most, visionaries. Visionaries of the Year is a philanthropic competition for highly motivated community leaders. Candidates and their team members raise funds for LLS in honor of local blood cancer survivors, our Honored Heroes. The title "Visionary of the Year" is awarded to the candidate whose team raises the most funds within their local community. The top Visionaries of the Year candidate in the country is awarded the national ‘Visionary of the Year’ title. As part of their journey, candidates and their teams will also choose a pillar of LLS’s mission – Research, Patient Education & Support, or Advocacy - to champion as they raise money.
Congratulations to this year’s candidate class. We are currently accepting nominations for next year. For additional information please contact your local LLS Staff Partner.
